After breakfast at the hotel, you will have the day to prepare for your trek. Our team will assist you in checking your gear and ensuring you have all the necessary equipment for the journey ahead. If you need to buy or rent any trekking gear, we will guide you to the best shops in Thamel, where you can find quality items at reasonable prices.

You can also take this time to explore Kathmandu’s cultural heritage sites such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), or Boudhanath Stupa, if time permits. In the evening, your trekking guide will conduct a final briefing about the trek, including route details, safety measures, and expected weather conditions. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

After an early breakfast, we begin our journey with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Machha Khola, the starting point of the trek. The drive takes approximately 7–8 hours along winding mountain roads, offering breathtaking views of terraced fields, rivers, and rural villages.

We follow the Prithvi Highway along the Trishuli River, then continue on a rugged off-road trail through lush hills and deep valleys. Along the way, you will pass charming villages such as Arughat and Soti Khola, where you can experience the authentic lifestyle of the locals.

Upon arrival in Machha Khola, we check in to a teahouse where you can relax and enjoy a warm meal. This small riverside village is a perfect place to rest and prepare for the adventure ahead. Overnight stay at a local Hotel or Lodge in Machha Khola.

After a hearty breakfast, we begin our trek following the narrow trail along the Budhi Gandaki River. The path gradually ascends and descends through lush forests, small waterfalls, and rocky ridges, offering scenic views of the river below.

We cross several suspension bridges and pass through small settlements such as Khorlabesi and Tatopani, where you can enjoy natural hot springs (optional). Continuing along the rugged trail, we traverse through landslide-prone areas before finally reaching Jagat, a charming Gurung village with traditional stone houses and mani walls.

Jagat is also the official entry checkpoint for the Manaslu Conservation Area, where your permits will be registered. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this beautiful village and the hospitality of the locals. Overnight stay at a Lodge in Jagat.

We cross several suspension bridges and navigate rolling hills before reaching Lokpa, a serene village located at an elevation of 2,240 meters. Lokpa offers stunning views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks, with snow-capped mountains visible in the distance. The village is quiet and less crowded, making it an ideal spot to rest and acclimatize.

After breakfast, we leave Chumling and trek further into the heart of Tsum Valley, following trails that pass through dense forests of pine, rhododendron, and juniper. The trail offers breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks, pristine rivers, and small, untouched villages along the way.

We arrive at Chhekampar, a traditional Himalayan village perched at 2,560 meters. This village is known for its rich Tibetan Buddhist culture, with monasteries, prayer flags, and mani walls adding to its spiritual charm. Chhekampar is a perfect place to experience local life and interact with villagers who have maintained their traditions for centuries.

We begin the day trekking from Chhekampar to Nile, gradually ascending through forests and open valleys. Today’s trek takes you to Mu Gompa, one of the largest and most significant monasteries in Tsum Valley. The trail passes through beautiful alpine meadows, streams, and prayer-flag-lined paths.
